Description
Cut from 13.5 oz stretch denim from Cone Denim in Mexico, these women’s jeans are cut, sewn, washed, repaired, and finished in Los Angeles. A mid-rise fit sits close through the hip and thigh before opening into an elongated bootcut flare.
Each pair is washed in small batches in LA before being individually distressed and repaired by hand. Raw-edge Ercole seashell appliqués are worked into the knees, surrounded by faded repair panels, abrasions, and irregular wear that give the denim the character of a piece continually worn and rebuilt over time. The released raw hem is left long to break and stack naturally over the shoe.
The waistband is finished by hand in Los Angeles with individually set studs in a mixture of polished silver, antique copper, and aged metal finishes. Custom Ercole hardware, a zip fly, and an embroidered and embossed signature back pocket complete the jean.
Because the washing, distressing, repairs, and studding are performed by hand, natural variations occur from pair to pair.
